It will be nice to have friends already there. Carter wowed me with his mind and ideas, he basically lectured on a book he read at a Borders, all from memory. I will be buying his books!

Cheers,

bmetalepsishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09577501652263855291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14933009.post-50388622767030348022007-03-06T15:36:00.000-05:002007-03-06T15:36:00.000-05:00I too lamented not going this year Bryan -- I was ...I too lamented not going this year Bryan -- I was buried in doctoral applications. I was admitted to Duke's Th.D. program and offered funding, and so I am very possibly going to be working with J.K. Carter next year along with Hauerwas! Carter has just sent a massive book to Oxford Press that is meant to redefine not only theology and race, but theological and political anthropology.Sameer Yadavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18275584304263103224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14933009.post-8978142832350433052006-12-23T11:34:00.000-05:002006-12-23T11:34:00.000-05:00not really interested in the speakers.not really interested in the speakers.metalepsishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09577501652263855291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14933009.post-8659386826440171162006-11-28T15:38:00.000-05:002006-11-28T15:38:00.000-05:00I'm definitely going to try and make it next year,...I'm definitely going to try and make it next year, Bryan. Missed you chaps, and even tried recreating a night sharing a room, just to fill the gap in my soul. Didn't work out. Apparently my wife's not that into Ali G, and Linda Belville jokes are death outside that context.

Were you not interested in this year's topic at all?Sharad Yadavhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12150204571738424517noreply@blogger.com
